On New Year's Eve of 2021, my boyfriend and I took a trip to Orlando, Florida. Under the COVID-19 pandemic, visitors and staff in the Universal Orlando Resort were all required to wear face masks. It made me feel unreal to see people in their costumes also need to protect themselves from the fatal virus. A true threat is around us, and we are amid a true battle.
